Annelies Vogels is responsible at KU Leuven for the coordination of the exhibitions organised by the university. At Illuminare she is involved as a staff member in the organisation of its various exhibitions and conferences. She is equally involved in the production of the publications of the study centre. In 2001, she won the Zeventiende Eeuw Scriptieprijs for her master’s thesis Nemo Artifex Nascitur: een zeventiende-eeuws receptenboek van Jacoba van Veen. In 2009, she was part of the scientific and organisational committee of the exhibition Rogier van der Weyden (1400-1464) – The Master of Passions (M Leuven). In 2013, she was involved in the preparations for the exhibitionsHieronymus Cock. The Renaissance in Print (M Leuven and Fondation Custodia, Paris) and Magnificent Middle Ages (Museum Plantin-Moretus, Antwerp). In 2016, she co-curated the exhibition In Search of Utopia (M Leuven) and in 2018 she was equally involved as co-curator in the exhibition Noble living from the Croÿ to the Arenberg family. The castle of Heverlee (KU Leuven Libraries). Currently she is preparing the exhibition Origins. Imagining the universe (Big Bang 2021, M Leuven) together with Jan Van der Stock and the team of Illuminare.
