In February-March 2024 Barbara Baert is invited professor by Stéphane Toussaint at the Centre André Chastel of the Université de Sorbonne in Paris. As Professeur Invitée Barbara Baert will share and test the reading of ‘corners’ in the perspective of Filippino Lippi’s work with the students and colleagues. She will further explore the different methodological angles launched here and she will look for other iconological contexts where ‘corners’ and ‘lever(ages)’ play a visual-semantic role.
